Erika Mazza

Vice President of Development Services

Erika has more than 20 years of local and regional government experience emphasizing in economic development, affordable housing, and mobility solutions. Prior to joining Genterra, she served in a variety of leadership roles including leading government affairs for several transit authorities across the western US. She also served the greater Flagstaff region as Mountain Line’s CEO and General Manager.

 

Erika’s government relations efforts have been recognized nationally for developing collaborative and coordinated strategic solutions; some of her work culminated in enhanced transit and housing funding within the Bipartisan Investment Act.  Erika has led the delivery of several comprehensive grant funding strategies resulting in the delivery of $400M in federal funding for transit and housing initiatives. She is a graduate of the American Public Transit Authority (APTA) Leadership program and recently spent three years serving as Vice Chair for the APTA Legislative Committee and currently serves as a National Mentor for their Emerging Leader Program. She also serves on the National Academy of Science’s Transportation Research Board. Erika previously served on the Board of Directors of Flagstaff Leadership Program, Housing Solutions Policy Committee, and as a voting member of the City of Flagstaff’s Transportation Commission.
